The Tail Table works with any car, crossover, SUV or van with a metal U-Latch trunk. This is the latch which the rear door locks down onto. Generally if your rear tailgate door swings up and down (not opening to the side) it will be compatible. The table uses a patented locking design to stabilize itself against the latch and then uses two adjustable leg braces to support the weight of the table (totally bumper tested and safe on finish). All components are designed and tested in the Denver and California to be USA STRONG! Parts components are made and assembled by our partner facility in China. We work with an amazing team in China and oversee the process very closely to ensure this product lasts a lifetime of fun in the sun!

The cutting board is made of recycled Wheat Straw which is a premium food grade material and is completely BPA free and has FDA approval. The impact of regular plastic on the environment is devastating, and wheat straw plastic is an awesome alternative.

The main table pieces are made from high strength PPS plastic (polyphenylene sulfide) with a tensile strength of 12,500 psi. Compared to other thermoplastic resins, PPS stands out in heat resistance, dimensional stability, rigidity, chemical resistance, flame retardance, and moist-heat resistance. It is also resistant to acids, alkalies, mildew, bleaches, aging, sunlight, and abrasion.The Silicone Chopping Mats are made from TPE Certificated food safe Food-Grade Silicone. Heat resistant -40°F to 482°F(-40°C to 250°C). Our cutting mat made from premium quality silicone is non-slip, knife-marks resistant, heat proof and dishwasher safe. The mat’s rubberized top material is designed for non-slip chopping mat capability.

It is 43" fully extended and 27" inches wide. It will fold down to 24L x 15W x 3D for carrying and storage.

Absolutely, the main table can be washed with some soap and water. Pat dry. The detachable Cutting Board and Chopping Mats are dishwasher safe! Make a mess with easy cleanup!

One of the main benefits of the Tail Table is it’s ability to be level anywhere, even an overlook with a steep incline. To keep your drinks and plates from sliding off, we recommend no more than a 5-degree canter from side to side or incline. You can adjust the feet as you’re setting it up for any situation. You always have the grippy silicone mats to keep things from falling off as well.

The table has securely held 200 lbs at the base of the table and 25lbs at the far edge of the table. We have added a telescoping ‘third leg’ which can be deployed whenever you are using the table for heavy loads or events with lots of people who may lean on the table.

We built this product to never break, but should it break, send our team a picture team@spaceinnovationlabs.com and we will help you repair or replace it.

No. The braces are padded for shock absorption and to reduce any scrapes or scuffs. We have stress-tested this with over 300lbs on the bumper and in many environments with no scrapes, scratches, or dents at all.

The Tail Table comes with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. If a part breaks or warps we will replace it. We want happy Tail Table customers out there on the road!
